Carpets And Rugs Act As The Filters Of Our Homes

Did you know that carpets and rugs act as the filters of our homes?

They quietly absorb soil, dust, and allergens we track in from outside, helping keep the air we breathe cleaner. Unlike AC or water filters, carpets and rugs can’t simply be replaced. That’s why regular cleaning is so important to keep them doing their job while maintaining a fresh and healthy home.  While they’re great for providing warmth and softness underfoot, carpets also trap dirt and dust. The problem is, they can’t get rid of it themselves. That dirt stays put until we vacuum it or have a professional cleaner step in. To keep them in good shape, make sure you vacuum regularly—at least twice a week. If you wear shoes inside, vacuum daily or every other day to keep things under control.
On top of that, it’s a good idea to hire a professional carpet cleaner every six to twelve months, depending on how well you care for them in between.

Let’s take care of the unsung heroes of our homes—our carpets and rugs. With a little effort, they’ll continue to keep our spaces fresh and our air clean.
